Avail is a talent management company based in Los Angeles whose primary focus

is representing comedic actors, writers and performers.

Vancouver-born Jessica Kelley made her way down the west coast landing in Los Angeles in early 2008 with her first residence being just a short walk from the weekly show Tiger Lily at the Gower Gulch as well as UCB Franklin. This happenstance made for an easy entry to enjoying the comedic riches the city had to offer and honing her taste for up and coming comedians while spending her time working in the Fashion industry.

In 2015 friends in Vancouver renovated the Fox Cabaret into a stunning 150 seat live music venue and somewhat offhandedly asked if she would book comedy for them. This proved to be the first step in the path of signing her first client and building a roster. Her primary focus is standup comedians who have strong voices and unique points of view. Her clients are all multi-hyphenates who in addition to being standup comedians are Writers, Actors, Directors and Podcasters. Her clients are on HBO, Comedy Central, IFC, Adult Swim, Amazon, Netflix and more, have written and created shows for the same and have raised the ranks of podcasting.

In 2017, alongside Jamie Flam and Vanessa Ragland, she launched revered comedy venue Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth Theater in Los Angeles. She brought in her former associate to the team from her time as Talent Buyer at the Fox Cabaret who harnessed the vision for the branding and design at Dynasty.

In 2019, once the venue had established itself as one of the premier comedy spots in LA, she put her focus solely back on management and expanded her roster. Shortly thereafter aligning with Rachel and Tasha to expand Avail.

Jessica lives in Los Feliz with her handsome diabetic cat Burly.

Hollywood-born Rachel Gallagher has been a lifelong fan of stand-up comedy and got hooked on live performance when her womb-mate first got on stage at the age of 18. She started as a corporate bad-ass in project management, working and living in London, Munich, Melbourne, and Singapore until deciding to chase her original passion in comedy and settling in Los Angeles in 2018 after traveling the world.

Rachel began her comedy journey by booking live stand-up comedy shows like Comedy Juice. In the years following, she produced podcasts and when the pandemic shut down live shows, this brought a new opportunity to run Nowhere Comedy Club - the first virtual club to bring live stand-up to your living room. She also produced and co-hosted a virtual show that raised almost $100k for comedians that were out of work.

In 2020 she transitioned into talent management, now alongside Jessica and Tasha. Her primary focus are comedic actors, writers, and performers. Her clients are on Netflix, Comedy Central, Hulu, Adult Swim, Hartbeat, and can be heard on Sirius/XM.

Rachel lives in Los Angeles with her musician husband and has an affinity for all things old, especially animals. Taking applications for senior Boston terriers.

After graduating, she moved directly to Los Angeles, where she acquired a Production Assistant job at Carsey-Werner, one of the most successful production companies in US history. She climbed her way up the ladder and worked on such shows as 3rd Rock From The Sun and That 70’s Show. She was eventually promoted to Staff Writer on their hit network sitcom Grounded For Life.

She continued to write for more network sitcoms before deciding to take the leap into development.

Tasha joined BBC Worldwide as a consultant and then Director of Development in the new scripted division. She was involved in developing reformats of BBC shows, such as Armando Iannucci’s The Thick of It, James Corden’s Gavin and Stacey, and was instrumental in producing the American pilot of the iconic Absolutely Fabulous

After four years at the BBC, Tasha obtained the coveted role of Head of Comedy Development at Chernin Entertainment where she was involved in setting up and producing numerous projects, including New Girl for FOX.

Following this, Tasha was hired as Head of Development at Chelsea Handler’s Borderline Amazing Productions. There she produced a number of writer-performer driven projects with the incredible talent on Chelsea Lately.

In the years following, Tasha was SVP Television at Storyline Entertainment, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron’s company, and also worked as a Consulting Producer at comedy podcast network, Starburns Audio.

Tasha made the switch to representation when she was hired as a Comedy Agent at APA, working with comedy writers and writer/performers.

During the pandemic, she segued into talent management combining her agency knowledge and producing skills. She worked alongside manager, Nicole Garcia, and then joined Jessica and Rachel at Avail.
